A foreign-issued license, whether you own a Greek or a foreigner, is accepted if it has been issued or officially recognized by a state authority in its country of origin. In the case of the preceding paragraph, the person concerned, in a check-up, must carry an official translation of the license obtained abroad, accompanied by a certificate issued by the relevant embassy or consular post, that the authority which issued it is competent to do so or that the institution which issued it has officially recognized by a State authority of the respective country.
